The Michigan State University India Council, a non-profit organization, is affiliated with the Asian Studies Center and International Studies and Programs (http://www.isp.msu.edu/) at the Michigan State University.
The MSU India Council was established on August 7, 1989 as an endowment at the University. Its objective is to work with the Asian Studies Center, International Studies Program at Michigan State University as well as independently to:
Membership is open to individuals, with interest in India, in furthering the mission and purpose of the India Council subject to approval of the Advisory Board.
The India Council is administered as an MSU-related council thorough the University's Asian Studies Center. It is directed by an Advisory Board of Directors headed by a Chairperson. The Presidents of the two India Students Organizations at MSU are ex-officio members of the Advisory Board.
