Undergraduate Asian Studies at MSU

Undergraduate students can major in Global and Area Studies (GLAS) with a concentration in Asian Studies. The GLAS major in the College of Social Science can be a primary major along with another disciplinary minor or major. The Asian Studies Center also offers a Specialization in Asian Studies that appears on students' official transcript. The Specialization provides an opportunity for students to take courses across a wide variety of disciplines with Asia as the focus. Students enrolled in any bachelor's degree program are eligible to apply.
